Overall, we had a wonderful stay here! This cozy apartment was perfectly situated in the heart of Paris and convenient for both Metro stops, or walking to see the sites. The only issues were the pan not being clean and there not being a clean sponge to do dishes with, but we solved that problem quickly. I definitely recommend this place! Raquel Levitan San Diego, USA This was our first visit to Paris and we had a wonderful time. The location of the apartment in the Marais district was perfect. We were met promptly as arranged by Anthony to receive the keys to the apartment . He went over the apt. amenities, (internet service etc. ) and gave us a few suggestions on where to eat and shop in the neighborhood. We arranged to meet the night before our departure so he could return our deposit and we could make arrangement to return keys as we needed to leave the apt. very early in the AM for our return flight to the US. Again he was prompt and and very helpful. The professional and friendly service was great! The apartment was located on the 3rd floor and required the climbing of 52 steps . We did not find this a problem (and we are a middle aged couple with the usual aches and pains!) as we usually on had to climb the stairs twice a day.And had the added benefit of helping us not to gain too much weight while we sampled the great cuisine of Paris. I only mention it in case someone has physical limitations and cannot do stairs. The apartment is small but perfectly fine for (2) adults particularly as we did not spend much time in the apt.. It was clean, and the queen size bed was comfortable. It was exactly what we expected from what we saw on the website. The price was more reasonable than any hotel room we could find, and had the added bonus of kitchen facilities. We did not cook( as the food in Paris was to good to miss) but did like having the facilities for breakfast and snacks. We had a lovely visit albeit too short and will definitely rent an apt. through Allorenta in our future travels. Kathleen & Joseph Lorina Hull, MA. Kathleen HULL The Marais apartment is in an incredible location. We were able to access a number of must-see neighborhoods by foot and at night would dine in excellent restaurants which were only blocks away from the apartment. (We recommend Fulvio for dinner, le Marché des Enfants Rouges for lunch and le Progrès for a late night drink) The apartment is extremely small and I don't recommend it for people who want to cook at home or spend a great deal of time at home (the window looks into a small courtyard so no view of Paris), but it is perfect for people who need a convenient and clean place to sleep at night and who wish to be in the thick of a lively and charming neighborhood. The owner is friendly and relaxed. Allorenta are extremely quick in replying to any queries and I would gladly deal with them again. Mireille Lebel, Canada, currently living in Erfurt, Germany. The apartment was in a perfect location for exploring the heart of Paris; it was quiet, had everything you need and was conveniently situated. The services from Allorenta were also excellent – I was very impressed with how quickly you responded to any query. I am from Sydney, Australia and I will definitely be using both Allorenta and the apartment I stayed in next time I stay in Paris! The apartment was a good value for the price and provided a very comfortable and quiet resting place for our many adventures in the city. The pleasant neighborhood was perfect with everything we needed, including a Laundromat. It was nice to find that a hair dryer, clothes iron, internet connection and other basics were provided. Mr. Pocheron was very nice and punctual when we arrived and departed. A final note is that the GoogleMaps Street-View picture is already out of date, as a sandwich shop has moved into the space at the corner. My husband and I enjoyed the apartment and the neighborhood very much. There were many sights, restaurants and interesting shops within walking distance, and it was easy to get to from the Air France bus stop at Gare de Lyon. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was attractively decorated. I was a little nervous about having only a bolster pillow to rest my head on but it turned out to be very comfortable. The owner, Auxelle, was delightful and very helpful. We appreciated the option of paying our security deposit by personal check. That was very easy and convenient for us. And the apartment did have an Internet connection, which we used quite a bit. Regarding Allorenta itself, we also appreciated the ability to use PayPal for our down payment. I would use Allorenta again, however, and would recommend it to others who are traveling to Paris. Best regards, Arlington - USA I enjoyed my staying in Paris for many reasons and one of them was the accommodation. We really were happy with it. Marais.200 is small but very nice and well situated, just 2-3 minutes away from metro. Is quite, has a very comfortable bad, all the electrical devices were functioning properly. It was much better then a hotel room, considering the price, location, equipments and design of the studio. And the owner was also nice and friendly though we let him wait when we arrived more then an hour. In one drawer of the furniture you can find all sorts of useful information about Paris: maps, locations, books. All in all we didn’t expect to have such a nice staying and we’ll recommend the studio to our friends too. Thank you. The owners are really friendly and helpful people. I really recommend this apartment for everybody wanted to go to Paris.
