T This newly renovated furnished flat with broadband internet facility, is in the neighbourhood of The Eiffel Tower, the Champ de Mars, the Rodin museum as well as Les Invalides. It is very conveniently and centrally situated, just 4 stops (10 mins) to St Germain des Près, the Notre Dame, the Sorbonne in the Latin district. Just 50 metres away from the metro station.

It is a safe and quiet neighbourhood yet near numerous shops and stores, restaurants and supermarkets. Enjoy the nearby open market at avenue de Breteuil, every Thursdays and Saturdays.

The flat is on the ground floor facing the courtyard of a prestigious 19th century Hausmannien thick lime-stone building with a security system at the main entrance as well as an interphone at the inner gate. It measures about 25m² with its mezzanine. It has parquet flooring and a large window overlooking a courtyard with plants. It is absolutely quiet, calm and safe.

It is decorated with a 19th century fireplace, a dining table, a queen size bed for 2, the mezzanine can sleep another adult or 2 children, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, shelves for books, television, telephone, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

Kitchen :

Fully equipped kitchen : Fridge, 2 electric burners, microwave-grill, a bread toaster, electric water boiler, an electric coffee maker, a complete set of kitchen utensils, crockery, pots and pans. Washing machine.

The bathroom :

It has an enclosed shower, wash basin and the toilet. An initial set of bed linen and towels are provided.

Heating :

Automatic heating by the building makes the studio warm at all times. Summer is cool, due to its thick stone walls.

Please refrain from smoking inside the flat.

The Invalides neighborhood merges with the Eiffel Tower area on the west and Saint-Germain on the East. It is delightful neighborhood to walk, offering two great museums and the final resting place of Napoleon.

Musée Rodin : Located on the east side of Boulevard Des Invalides, this museum has the world's best collection of Rodin's sculptures and houses his personal art collection. The museum's Sculpture Garden is very enjoyable and the collection is magnificent.

Musée D'Orsay : The grand museum of the Impressionists is housed in the former d'Orsay train station. This well designed museum provides an excellent venue for the masterpieces of the leading Impressionists. If you like art, the musée d’Orsay is a must.

Hôtel des Invalides : The St Louis des Invalides Church houses the sarcophagus and remains of Napoleon I. Although the sarcophagus appears to be finely made of cherry when viewed from the gallery, it is red granite. The building is gorgeous. Behind the church, the former home for invalid soldiers, built by Louis XIV, is now a military museum. Eiffel Tower : Just 15 mins walk from the flat.
